Goardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The majesty and history of that space cannot be beat. (NT)No name

While AC is what feels most like home, I’m not sure that Boardwalk Hall (even though it literally pains me to say it) is the venue best fit any longer. I would love to see MA held in the theatre at Ocean Casino Resort may be. That would allow the parade to reemerge and bring back some of the history while staging the competition in a beautiful and modern venue. (NT)No name

I was in AC this past weekend for a funeral and spoke to a local owner of a boating tourism company and he went into details about how the pageant didn't deliver the revenues promised by the MAO and the organization didn't want to pony up ANYTHING for security services and everything else it takes to house contestants, judges, staff., etc. in several different hotels, transport them, etc. The city was losing money on the deal, so it no longer served them to host. I competed at Miss America in the 90s and Boardwalk hall was such a surreal experience. That is where Miss A's history is and that's where it should stay. My best friends cousin's gf competed in Connecticut and she didn't enjoy the experience. (NT)No name
