Subject: Oh I liked her evening gown and didn't realize it was so hated! Sounds like this will be an unpopular opinion but I actually had Stephanie 2nd after semi-final competition, behind Georgia's Brenda Leithleiter and just above Gina Tolleson. I didn't get Carole Gist at Miss USA, but she was a vision at Miss Universe and she was my winner there.

That was a tough year for the finalists. New Jersey nailed her response to the Top 6 question. I had Miss Alaska making the Top 3, but her answer was weak during the Top 6 OSQ period. Plus, her gown wasn't attractive enough which might have made the difference. Later, Gina Tolleson became Miss World if I remember. (NT)no name
