Who are some pageant people we don't hear about anymore? Ones that used to be super-active then they just disappeared. I have always wondered what happened to Jennifer Reed that owned the Beauties of America pageant. She sold it to a friend of mine. IIRC there was an issue in 2009 (?) where Jen treated a plus-size contestant very unprofessionally. I was in the audience and heard the story secondhand. Her entries the following year dropped by 50 percent which necessitated in her selling the pageant. Anyone else we don't hear about?

Do any of you remember the Sanders family who ran Miss SC for eons.? When they got pushed out in 2010 son Joey had just been convicted for sexual assdault on a minor. Their response was to lean on the teen contestants to submit encouraging messages to the boy to make his time in the joint a little cheerier. There were (of course) too many more sins to list here (NT)No name
