I heard the board member and local directors that left were trying to take over the pageant and to be honest it was the best thing for the organization that they left. I was at the pageant and it was top notch all the way from production to crowing. They crowned two really strong competitors who will do great at nationals. From what I’m hearing the Miss South Carolina Volunteer Pageant is the premiere pageant for South Carolina and consists of a board that runs a fair and competitive pageant. Rumor is it will take the place of Miss SCMAO. -- Miss Volunteer America Pageant
