But as someone who clearly comes from the Oklahoma pageant system, it doesn’t surprise me one bit. The state isn’t known for being kind to Black titleholders, all of whom seem to get reputations for being “difficult to work with”. I think the problem is likely that o conscious and unconscious bias that is pervasive in a state that is best known for the mass genocide of native Americans. So, I’ll just file that in “commentary from a pageant dinosaur” file, roll my eyes and give you an earnest “Bless your heart.” 😘

So unless you have the receipts to back up any claims on how egregious Jordan behaved in Oklahoma, have a seat, otherwise you just kind of sound like a jackass. Nobody said rays played a role in what happened to Jordan in New York… But when someone from Oklahoma comes on this board and starts coming for the girl… Well, Oklahoma has its reputation and it’s well deserved. I think the volunteer system is going to welcome Jordan, Michela and any other black delegate with open arms and I think they both are going to do quite well… Which is probably why you’re so pressed.
