[> [> [> Subject: Fabulous or not, if TN wins MVA is one and done. No one will believe it isn't rigged and very few state directors (especially those that appointed and planned to hold a pageant for next year which is a lot of them) will send a titleholder again. That is just the way it is.

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: Her talent was not the "best". It was entertaining but no technique. What the state directors can see is that it is not going to be a fair contest if TN wins.

[> [> [> [> Subject: If a bunch of petulant directors are going to cry and whine and pick up their marbles and go home because a beautiful and talented contestant wins a pageant fairly, well they don’t really have the integrity to be directors in the first place. If Tennessee was competing for any other state she would be on everybody’s shortlist and you all know it. The organization shouldn’t be penalized because the host state fielded a quality candidate. There’s nothing unfair about that. It stands to reason that the Tennessee organization is much deeper when it comes to fielding candidates than other states because they’ve been at it longer . It shouldn’t come as a surprise that their candidate is a heavy hitter. My advice: keep building your organization and come back ready to compete.

[> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Completely agreed! And the way this scoring is broken down, it is entirely possible for someone who doesn't win a prelim to win this whole thing, especially because watching prelims suggest the scoring (especially in Group C) is very tight.
