Subject: Golden Beauty

Synthis ran, panting, to the place she knew her flit would be heading next; her old spot at the beach. The bronze and brown flits zipped ahead of her, reaching the golden mother first.

When Synthis finally reached her beloved gold, Nazereth chirped a little welcome to her, and shifted slightly to allow her a view of the clutch.
Synthis gave a small smile. "You did well, love."

Nazereth set one egg away from the rest. It was her prized egg; the one with the glittering shell of gold.

Nazereth's clutch;

One very tiny egg.
Three small eggs.
four that were middle-sized.
Three that were large.
Two that were very large, one dusted with a bronzish glow.

And one other, the golden shell seeming to givce off radience like Rukbat. There was no mistaking that the daughter inside would be strong and healthy.
