He peers at Daer and blinks, twisting his head to gaze at A'rak. He looks a bit like me, only smaller. Grinning, the boy tousels the big head affectionately and smiles at T'yin.

"That's one happy flit. Velvet's still sleeping, but when he wakes up he'll be hungry as anything." He strokes the small head with a thumb and grins again.

Goodbye Shrineth, tell your rider we said hello. Kadoth murmurs, settling to a stretched out position on the floor. Obligingly, A'rak moves his feet lest they be crushed by the increasing bulk of the young dragon.

"Is this how it is? Every time I look at Kadoth it seems he's gotten bigger! How long before he's full grown, T'yin?" He asks earnestly, glancing from Daer to Kadoth, and then to the greenrider.
