A little taken aback by all these questions, Taran could only stand and stare at this whirlwind of a human being, with an expression that was probably comical. Indeed, up in the stands, Arden was chuckling at his brother�s nonplussed expression, which was most of all brought on by being called �Tarry�. Nobody had ever called him �Tarry� in his life before.

But he may as well play along. Not quite sure how to handle Eques, all Taran could do was act as if this was all normal for him. �I guessed, I don�t know, I agree, there are two �c�s, and no �v�. And yes, I think you are.� Again? That didn�t bode well. Was he like this all the time? No wonder he had come to the Weyr � he had probably worn his family out and had been forced to leave so they could get their strength back!

Unless they were all like him? Taran didn�t dare think what such a family would be like.

�Uhh�are you aright?� He asked, not quite sure whether this sudden depression was just a mood swing or something else.
