Gratefully obeying S'sha's wordless command, T'gan hurries over, pulling his shirt over his head as he moves, and uses the few seconds of breathing space to try and get his head in order. A strong sense of deja vu grips him, and it takes him a second to recognize it as a feeling of intense relief, similar to what he'd felt upon seeing D'ctor and Whoth returning alive, but understandably stronger at seeing so many alive who had been presumed dead. I wonder if S'sha will want to be Weyrwoman now? he thinks, not quite sure how to take to that thought. There's nothing but joy at seeing Kylith in the Perches again - his loyalties, if pressed, would almost certainly be to the gold who had ruled his first Weyr and been mother of his beloved Chuth - but Wessae has been a good Weyrwoman at New Isle, and he's become accustomed to her leadership. It's not something I have to worry about right away, he reminds himself, deciding not to fuss over hypotheticals for the moment. Better to just be happy to see them, and only worry if the situation arises (hopefully, if it does, sometime after his head's stopped pounding, though the bath in the lake certainly seems to have helped in that respect). "You would not believe how glad I am to see you," he answers as he reaches the group, finally finding his tongue. "The whole Weyr will be overjoyed - we all thought you were dead in the storm." T'gan smiles, a bit more weakly than he normally might, but still with real warmth in the typically reserved expression. "Do you know whether anyone else we lost in it is alive?" It's probably a foolish question - if they had found anyone else, presumably those riders would have returned with them - but he may as well ask. He's probably not going to be managing much more than delighted gawking for a good while anyway. Half of his mind, the part not still fuddled with morning fuzziness and the aftereffects of too much wine, hasn't yet stopped cheering, They're alive! They're alive! in a steady chant of surprised joy.

((Mrr. *bats at it* If I've made any big mistakes, sorry; it's kind of late in this time zone.))
