My last ever spanking was when I was 13 because I threw sand in my cousin's face. It was an accident and I was so sorry but I was sentenced to humiliation and retribution in the form of a bare bottom handsmacking in front of my cousins, all but one of whom were girls. So I ended up way more sorry. Without a doubt the single most shameful experience of my life. It was painful, but that was nothing compared to the embarrassment I felt being seen naked from the waist down as a teenager who had not hit puberty yet. I wouldn't say the spanking "helped" me, and it wasn't intended to.

They were humbling experiences that helped us realize we needed to make better choices about our Attitudes and Behaviors before leaving home to be successful in Life.
