 I hadn't heard of this group by that name, but found something about it on the website of the International Cultic Studies Association, which linked to this ex-members' group: https://www.recoveringgrace.org/

I've heard of other religious groups where spanking is normative, even for some adults. Less important IMO than whether spanking is practiced and on whom, is whether there's a psychologically coercive environment in the group. Clearly many ex-members think there is in IBLP.
