First I have to say I am a pro spanking mum too.
BUT
It is indeed exactly as you suspect, more than 95% of what I have read here, is pure fantasy (thank God!), or better says, even quite crude and stupid fantasy!

If you pay attention to the writing style, you will notice this almost immediately.
When these user names are exhausted, the names will changed and the game starts all over again!
My personal favorites for this intellectual nonsense are:
Christian faith, love and understanding hugs for this spankee, encouragement that she deserves to be spanked, And they must get much more spankings too, etc. etc. etc.
Anyone who believes this storys is true, themselves to blame.
I'm not so sure about around 4% of all messages, you can clearly tell that someone is talking about the past, maybe at now too.
I estimate that these people are clearly 35-50+ years old is.
Then there will also be around 1% who actually enforce maintenance sentences and other special dress or punish for children aged around 2 to 16 at the most, but definitely not 2-3 times a week!!!
If you see, that wrote anywhere, then I am sure, that this human fantasy has a open end.
The other parents waits for certain events, if they wants to spank theire.
That sounds very credible to me. But I can't remember when and where I read it, I belive it wasn't here.
I belive too, that can happen, that she spank theire kids often, than only one times at week, but never every weeks.

So when parents beat their children with wooden paddles, canes or heavy whips so badly. that their skin even bruised or bursts, is a line definitely been crossed and should be prosecuted.
But never a normaly, spanking with parents hand.
