I got talking with a new neighbor who has girls 14 and 12 and a boy 13. She is a spanking mom. What got me was when she said she will hand spank their bottom some, but she uses her brush only on their sit spot and mostly the back of the thighs. She said the thighs are more tender than the bottom and blistering the thighs has worked for her. She said her kids are more respectable and behave better since she started spanking them that way. I myself do spank the back of thighs some but mainly their bottoms. Is there any other mom that spanks the back of their child/teen thighs more than the bottom? Those are the padded spots provided by nature for safe corporal punishment. I spank with the culprit forward over my knee to raise and place those spots properly for discipline, and demand obedience so that nothing causes me to miss my targets, and, believe me, those spots get spanked. I have never worried that my message would not get through. Afterwards, unless one has to take their pants down, no one is going to see the spanking. When being raised in the fifties and early sixties the Sunday "Funnies" were a big thing. Comic strip kids like Little Iodine, Dennis the Menace, Nancy, Dot, the Wyatt kids and the Smith kids were (like most of us) spanked a lot. If I reached around or moved out of position and the yardstick landed somewhere other than my bottom, then it was still an earned spank IF it was aimed at my bottom. Aiming for elsewhere such as deliberately aiming a belt spank at the far side hip or the thighs seems mean or cruel and very unnecessary. One of the many virtues of the hairbrush is that it can be totally accurate. No doubt that is why my mother always reminded me that my best friend was spanked with "the hairbrush". I was not very cooperative and as a consequence, my mother liked the extended reach that the yardstick provided. When she spanked by hand, we were generally over her knee where there was virtually no chance to hit anywhere other than her desired target and she usually spanked hard and fast. It was the same when she used the hairbrush. When she used an implement such as a paddle, flyswatter or the dreaded belt, she was much more deliberate and insisted we stand or lay still while getting spanked. She also made us grab onto something in front of what ever we leaned or bent over to keep our hands out of the way. So if she ever hit us anywhere other than on the bare butt. It was pretty much because we moved as she was swinging. I remember getting tagged a few times right below my butt, but that was always because I had moved during the swing. As others have said, getting hit right below the crease between my butt and thighs was quite painful so I tried to be as still as I could. I loved the comic strip. As I kid I was surprised to see the Smith Family comics did have bare bottom spankings. I was used to seeing comics where boys were spanked over their clothing and girls wearing dresses were spanked on their panties.
