Mom didn't believe in "too old". She was more of a "as long as you are living under my roof" type. Her spankings were always on the bare bottom. Especially when she did it in front of others. My siblings got to see most of my spankings and I got to see theirs. I averaged two or three spankings a year between the ages of twelve and fifteen. I was fifteen the last time I was spanked and got that one with a flyswatter while my sister who got spanked before me watched. She stood crying rubbing her sore red bottom while I was getting mine spanked. It was pretty embarrassing. Then we had to sit on hard wood chairs to eat our dinner that had gotten cold. I tried my best to avoid doing anything that would get me a spanking after that night. Both my brother and sister got spankings into their teens as well. It's also an implement that you can "hear coming" because it makes a loud "whoosh" as it's being used. It's one implement that is totally ineffective on a fully clothed bottom. Unless you are careless and hit with the wire, it doesn't leave bruises, welts or break skin. But it will leave you with a very red and stinging bottom. Mom always spanked bare and didn't give a set number of "licks" she spanked until she thought it was sufficient. How fast or slow a spanking was administered was pretty much determined by what she was using. She was very careful about where she hit, not hitting on the back or legs except for possibly a few swats on the backs of our thighs right under our butt. If she used a belt for example, she would be slow and more deliberate because there is too much of a chance of missing the "target". With a flyswatter or her hand she tended to go faster. Of course she had pretty good aim. The spankings also tended to be longer when she used a flyswatter. Any marks from it were usually red waffle shaped marks and usually faded within in a couple of hours. But that being said, you still felt the sting of it for several hours, like a sunburn. She was ten and I was fifteen. She had to go first. Mom made her pull her shorts and panties down and raise up the long shirt she was wearing and lay across one of the kitchen chairs. I pulled my underwear down over my already burning but and let them drop then she put me back over the chair and gave me another long hard spanking. I tried to hold back the tears but failed. After what seemed like forever, my sister and I were allowed to pull up our pants, and set and eat our now cold dinner on those hard wood kitchen chairs.
