The only exception was during the school year if we had a lot of homework to do we would be allowed to sit on the hardwood chairs at the kitchen table to do our homework instead of standing in the corner. It was also somewhat common for us to have to wait in the corner for anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes before getting a spanking. We were naked for our spankings and corner time was the same. There wasn't a timer or anything for us either. Mom or Dad would send us to the corner and were were expected to stay there until one of them told us otherwise. The real benefit was having homework to focus on and take my mind off the spanking I'd received. For the first half hour to hour after the spanking we were still naked regardless of whether we were in the corner or at the table. I don't think any of us ever wasted a second getting dressed again once we were allowed, but it also wasn't top of mind in the aftermath of a spanking, at least for me.
