Sometimes a direct approach works. Not quite the same, but some years ago I met a lady through business and we became quite friendly. We met for lunch one day and a couple of drinks loosened our tongues. We asked each other what other interests we had. I told her I had one I couldn't possibly tell her about. In the end I blurted out that I liked spanking, fearing that was the end of our friendship. She immediately replied "ooh, would you do that to me?" I would say he's deduced that you want a spanking, but also dislikes your deliberately being bratty, and has correctly decided that spanking you is not the way to get you to behave.
