Dad was zero tolerance if we crossed it.

With hubby we are equals most of the time.
We've been married nearly 13 years. When I've behaved badly I have suggested he punish me and he's obliged so its at least semi-consensual.

He did punish me once just after we married and lets just say I deserved it.

sounds like he set the tone right after the marriage - that is good...while no one enjoys it - i find that i get out of my head at times, can have an attitude and severely procrastinate.. So, lets just say i get a reminder
