When I was growing up, spankings generally took place in the living room on the bare bottom and whoever happened to be in the room at the time would see it. Generally my brother, sister or I would be called into the living room for the spanking and the other two would watch if they wanted to. If both parents were home, then both would be in the room.

With my own kiddos it's basically the same. If I'm going to spank one of them, I don't make the other two come in in watch, but I don't make them leave the room either. Now we don't make them strip naked for spankings or do bare bottom or naked corner times are or any other nonsense. Just a few smacks on the bare bottom and then the matter is settled.
