I can't find your response to me but I wanted to answer your question.

yes growing up I hated doing the spank dance because of the burning and pain and all of the physical discomfort i was feeling. Of course as that subsided it gave way to humiliation as I realized I had thrown away any hint of modesty in front of my spanker and possibly my siblings.

As a spanker now I do enjoy it. It signals job well done to me. the spankee is clearly only focused on the discomfort that was earned from the bad behavior. whether its my son or daughter his/her complete lack of modesty signals that focus. So I really enjoy seeing that involuntary hands locked on bottom cheeks with everything else waiving in the air.
