That was a spanking well deserved and needed for Alex. Tantrums in themselves have always quickly led to spankings here, but that Alex also did something dangerous as well, he really needed to have his bottom warned up soundly.

As for spanking on a frozen bottom, I have lived in the midwest all my life, including raising our four children here. We have had some of the coldest winters you can imagine. So yes, I have given many spankings on a frozen bottom over the years. And you are right, taking the time to take off their boots, gloves, hat and then unpeel their jacket and snowpants or snowsuit is certainly more work, but of course is a worthwhile endeavor to administer the proper bare bottom spanking that is needed.

But you are right, there is certainly a "crispness" to their spanking when smacking a cold bottom (and thighs). And of course always lot more animation along with louder bawling, screaming and hysterics on their end.

However, the spankings that have been the worst for the children is when they've decided to not only misbehave in the cold outside, but get their pants (and therefore bottom) wet in the process.

My son would love to dive and tumble in the snow for his snowball fights and fort building. But he hated to wear snow pants even though he knew I required him to do so. I don't know how many times I caught him outside rolling around in the snow in his pants! Well, in the end he paid for it with not just a cold, but also a wet bare bottom spanking. He never held back, really exercising his lungs in letting the whole neighborhood (or at least all his friends outside) know how unhappy he was over my knee while I spanked his cold and wet bottom long and hard.
