Yes it is less because of the anti spankers and their lying campaign for decades of how bad spanking a child is.

But I do think there are a good deal more spankers than we know, they just are not talked about for fear of being attacked, about 10-11 years ago I was kicked off of FB for mentioning that I spank my boys, the attackers came at me and I was booted off.

It also depends upon what State one lives in here in the USA and region of that State, I have read where spankings are very much talked about in the Bible belt, Southern States. I am in a very Blue State but found a church that supports and talks about spanking and there are moms as with me that go there for that reason.
