Adam was skating on thin ice given the spanking warnings he had already been given. Still, I guess he did not expect Mum to check up on in once he was tucked up in bed for the night.

You certainly gave your son's bare bottom a right sound spanking with your hand and hairbrush, and no more than he deserved. An apple red bottom courtesy of a good tanning from Mum is sure to get a boy dancing. An admirable demonstration that when Mum says 'Bed!;, she means bed, and NOW.
