It was something Mary commented on in her '6 spankings in 5 days' thread that gave me pause for thought and post this thread.

Young Decker, being spanked in the kitchen, made a grab for a chair leg to try and get leverage to escape of Mary's knee. Elizabeth then said her son would squirm of her knee to the floor also avoid being spanked further. Unsurprisingly, neither Decker or Daniel fared too well with their endeavours and both were soundly spanked as intended.

Neither of those boys was as compliant in submitting to his spanking as perhaps he should have been. Understandable enough of course, no boy (or girl) wants his/her bare bottom soundly spanked by Mum or Dad (or anyone else).

However, children who are regularly spanked as discipline are more likely to be obedient and compliant in the while spanking process, knowing as they do what is expected of them. Learning from experience.

Some question then relating to the degree of compliance of your children when they are about to be soundly spanked:

1. Obediently take their trousers down (or raise skirt) and then lower/remove their briefs/panties? Non-applicable question obviously if you bare the child's bottom yourself.

2. Obediently bend over your knee/lap when instructed or motioned to do? Or do you need to grab an arm and haul the miscreant over your knee

3. Block spanks with hand repeatedly? If so, do you use a leg lock to trap the boy or girl's own legs?

4. Attempt to wriggle off your knee while being spanked?

5. Act argumentatively and defiantly while being spanked?

6. If corner time used does he or she manage it without fuss, and obediently place hands on head and obediently resist rubbing sore bottoms?

7. Pull undies and trousers back up once allowed off your lap after the spanking, glare at you and rush from the room? Or does he/she remain behind contrite and meek for a calming post spanking talk and cuddle with Mum (and even maybe a bottom rub)?

Sorry, I ended up asking so many questions here, but once I started thinking of it, there was so much involved with a child's compliance in his or her bare bottom spanking.
