For me, Laura, the effectiveness of any spanking is whether the lesson has been learnt and the child is truly contrite after a pants down spell over my knee. A dark pink bottom helps to ensure this together with heartfelt sobbing. Jo done, slipper returned to cupboard under the stairs for some well earned R & R.

Any parent knows when a spanking is really getting through to his son or daughter, and is not deceived by crocodile tears or insincere promises to behave and/or lose their bad attitude.

I am sure a "big spanking" from Mom does the trick for Matt.
