I'm curious if I'm the only one who does this. When I'm shopping, I very often look at something and think to myself "Would this be good for spanking?" I think my hairbrush is plenty effective, so it's not like I'm actually constantly looking for something new - being a bottom girl, I guess this is just how my mind works?

Nicholas is at an age where he's starting to enjoy thinking through logical problems out loud with me more than before. I'm of course happy to entertain this because thinking through problems is a crucial life skill. A lot of times this manifests as him asking me why I'm choosing a certain thing while shopping.

Today we were shopping at Target, and I was looking at kitchen utensils, comparing and contrasting. Nicholas started doing the same thing which I think is so cute.

I got a new set of knives, some cutting boards, and a lastly a couple large spoons. With everything, Nicholas wanted to know why. When I settled on a (wooden) spoon, he asked me why I picked it. I explained that I use it to stir hot things and that it doesn't leak tiny bits of plastic into our food.

I'm not sure what came over me, but I jovially said "these are better if you misbehave too" and have him a little tap on the seat of his shorts. He knew I was just teasing and giggled a little. He had a smirk on his face and said "And you'd COOK with it too?!?". I laughed and told him no, that he'd "get his very own".

I'm sure this comes across as mindless rambling, but I think our interactions are pretty funny sometimes, so I thought I'd share this one here.
