Discretely ignoring the tear, R'ven pulls the pen and scrap of hide out of his beltpouch. This is a subject he might need them for. Pausing to think, he tilts his head back a little, grey eyes going a bit distant as he tries to calculate it out. {For Massath, it was two Turns, but only one for Athena. I wonder if green firelizards mature faster or slower than golds?} He might as well ask the expert, or at least someone who can talk to an expert. {/Massath, do you know when green firelizards start rising? NORMAL ones, I mean./}

She snickers, then goes distant, and he can hear the murmur, just beyond the mentally audible, that means she's talking to another dragon. It's a minute or so before the green replies. {I checked with a couple of other dragons to be sure, and they agree that it would probably be a Turn or so after they Hatch, just like Athena.}

{/Thank you, dragon-lady,/} R'ven tells her, head tipping forward again and his eyes refocusing. Normally he'd just raise a finger, but that's no way to keep up a conversation, as he's been firmly informed by his teachers in the art of socialization (and been thumped over the head about, as Yima is of the firm opinion that when all else fails, pain is an efficient instructional tool). His hand speeds over the paper, once again his writing so small that it's legible only by dint of its extreme neatness, and he hands it to M'telle with a grin. #About a Turn after they hatch, Massath thinks. Kree's almost ten Turns and this is her first flight, but she's not a normal green. She isn't all there, no green instincts or common sense to speak of. Ki should be normal, I think.#
