Subject: Toughened soles

I have a daughter who’s 14 now, she’s been going barefoot all of her life wherever she can and when the weather allows it, during summer im used to see her soles be various shades of black depending on where she has been walking. Something I’ve found to be quite endearing and fascinating is how tough and rugged her soles have become, her skin is not cracked at all or anything which is good, definitely something you don’t see with most teenage girls, but she seems to be pretty proud of it and is not embarrassed at all to show them off. I think it’s awesome she keeps going barefoot and I’m always gonna encourage her to continue doing so
