Hi to you and your daughters! That's wonderful, how old are they and do they prefer toing barefoot all year, even in winter? I hope they're not getting into trouble for their choice at school.

My daughter Rita is just three, and already an accomplished barefoot walker. She learned to walk barefoot from the beginning, I accompanied her outside so I could warn her when there's anything dangerous. Now she goes barefoot everywhere, including the big city and mountain hikes, I guess many adults wouldn't dare to go barefoot where she does, it's fabulous! She's also quite active and enduring, and her going barefoot everywhere makes many things much easier.

Later this year she's getting into kindergarten and there children are encouraged to decide by themselves whether they want to wear shoes or not. It's just a short walk from our home so she'll walk there barefoot (we'll see what to do on freezing winter days).
