Hi ... cute but it's still not nice to leave your stuff out in the landscape, I'm trying to teach my daughter Rita not to do that. Without shoes or socks to leave in the way there's a couple fewer things left by your child to stumble over!
Speaking of her, now well over 3, she's out and about barefoot all day and has a clear preference for grass and forest but no problem on the pavement unless it's extremely hot but it's good that she's cautious and takes care not to get hurt.
We've been to the lake a few times, she's starting to swim without water wings or other inflatables. Of course under supervision. Soon going to register her to a swimming course for young children, at the same time when she's starting kindergarten. Big progress at that age! And she's already a better barefooter than most, though gravel is clearly not her favourite it doesn't slow her down.
Just like walking is best learned with your own bare feet and without holding on to anything, swimming is best learned by discovering your body can hold itself up.
