Hello, Sally!
Yes I notice how my daughter's feet are developing, though she had remarkably little difficulty walking on rough ground with soft little baby feet they are now becoming more contoured with raised arches and thicker skin where it touches the ground. She's also walking longer distances, at least when it's not freezing. Currently it's very cold, so we take Skinners along just in case, anyway she's determined to go barefoot as much as she can and is really curious about snow and the footprints she can make.
I'm not sure how long she can hold up, and don't want to set records, just find what's best for her, which is probably to keep going barefoot outside, just for shorter times and when it's a bit warmer around noon. How are your children doing in cold seasons?
