It's so encouraging to see how your kids are enjoying their barefoot lifestyle and how they have such positive responses to the questions you asked them.

The fact that they enjoy the feel of the ground beneath their feet, the freedom to wiggle their toes, and the ease of being barefoot is evidence of their awareness of the world around them. Their responses also show that they understand why some people wear shoes and that the idea of dirt or fear of injury is a common concern among those who prefer shoes.

Their preferred surfaces for walking barefoot reflect their diversity of experiences and appreciation for the varied textures and sensations that nature provides. It's also great to see how they handle less pleasant situations, like broken glass. Their understanding of diversity of opinion and their ability to accept themselves barefoot no matter what others think are signs of maturity and self-confidence.

It's comforting to know that your family continues to celebrate and support this barefoot lifestyle, and that the recent barefoot wedding has boosted their confidence. It's wonderful to see how your children discover for themselves that their approach is welcomed and appreciated wherever they go.

For other questions, you might consider asking:

What is the best memory you have of walking barefoot?

Are there any activities you enjoy doing barefoot more than others?

What advice would you give to other children who might be curious about going barefoot?

Here are the answers of my two sons to your questions:

What do you like most about walking barefoot?

Oldest son: I like to feel the grass and the earth under my toes. I also like the tar on the sidewalks or the tiles in the supermarkets.

Youngest son: It's great not having those itchy or tight shoes. I can feel the ground under my feet, it's super cool! .

Are there times when you would rather wear shoes?

Eldest Son: I guess if the ground is super super cold, like in winter when it's freezing, then maybe I'd prefer long socks and if it's really cold some shoes.

Youngest son: I prefer my bare feet!

Why do you think other people wear shoes when they go out?

Oldest son: Maybe they don't like their feet getting dirty or they think it's more comfortable.

Younger son: I think some people might be afraid of stepping on sharp things, like rocks. But me, I don't care.

Your favorite surface for walking barefoot?

Eldest Son: I love grass And also tar or tiles!

Youngest son: Sand, tar and mud.

What annoys you when you walk barefoot?

Eldest son: Nothing annoys me

Youngest son: When it rains a lot and the ground gets all wet, it can be a bit slippery!
