I asked my children those questions, here are their answers lumped together ... basically barefoot is so normal for them they don't always have much to say about it, other than that they love it!

Q: What do you like most about walking barefoot?
- It's so easy and feels so much better than shoes! And it gets easier the more you do it!

Q: Are there any moments you would rather wear shoes?
- Not in a long time!

Q: Why do you think others wear shoes when they go out?
- They don't dare it, they think they get hurt or they might be embarrassed.

Q: Your favourite surface to walk barefoot?
- Those big meadows in the mountains we found during the hike recently.

Q: What annoys you when you go barefoot?
- When there's a little piece of glass I don't see that gets stuck in the foot.
(We had such a case with our youngest boy, with my help we got it out and he was pain free the same day, so no big deal.)

Q: What is the best memory you have of walking barefoot?
- There's a lot just recently during the holidays. And meeting other kids who love it was just awesome!

Q: Are there any activities you enjoy doing barefoot more than others?
- Everything is more fun barefoot than in shoes!

Q: What advice would you give to other children who might be curious about going barefoot?
- Just do it, but take it easy, if it doesn't hurt it's all fine!

In other news ... our 11 year old girl got creative and made a lovely sign "Bare feet only" for the front door, with the footprints of all three kids. So I guess it's an official house rule for all now.
