It is also a wonderful thing to children/teens to decide to go the "always barefoot" way by simply forgetting about shoes as long as possible ... and to have suppportive parents. Either they are fascinated by how much you can stand, or they simply see you're doing fine the way you are. Or maybe they think it's something every child should experience. Whatever their motivation, as long as they don't try to find reasons to get you to wear shoes it's just great.

And I'm having no difficulties, let's see how far I can make it into winter, every day is a fun adventure there!
