We had more snow and today it was sunny and cold. Our kids are still going out barefoot twice a day for about 15 to 20 minutes when the weather allows (some snowfall is ok, freezing rain certainly not!) Yesterday we visited a christmas market which was great fun, though a little crowded so my children had to watch their toes! We also enjoyed a hot punch together but didn't stay in on place too long.
Today we did a longer hike in the snow. There we took along some mittens and "skinners kids line" (which I recently ordered just in case we need them ...) Plenty of deep snow, wearing ski pants and legwarmers underneath certainly helped, the children put the skinners on for some time but towards the end of the hike just ran barefoot down a snowy meadow, it's fantastic how much fun they are having.
A check in the evening confirmed all their feet are perfectly healthy and fine, and since they're having fun they can just go on like this.
