I believe that Takky has some excellent troubleshooting solutions about those very problems in his web site.

I'm looking for a 3.3 volt power regulator and I hope that I have found the equivalent of a Micrel MIC29150. A Canadian & American store called Active Components a division of Future Electronics, has a "3.3 volt 1.5 amp POSITIVE regulator in a TO220 packaging for $2.49 Canadian. Does any of this make sense? Is this the right product?

Would I need another power supply (adding maybe CDROM and High capacity hard disk) or is this regulator all I'll ever need?

Ted
