Subject: Full 040 in a Mystic?

Hi folks, long time no post!

My Mystic is humming along nicely and makes a GREAT terminal for quick Mac browsing at my desk on the home network...

Anyway...My question is:
Can I use the pulled CPU from a Quadra 840av in the 575 Logic Board's socket? I yanked the chip from a dead 840av LB and noticed that 575 and 840's processors are the same size.

My Mystic has no hardware hacks of any sort...8.1 is running thanks to the ResEdit hacks posted to this group (THANK YOU!).

Plus, pulling the chip was easy with careful prying...How the heck do I put it back?! This ain't a ZIF socket y'know...

Any info would be grand!
