Yo!

Yessiree Bob, you folks are very wise.

This message is being generated by my Mystic in an 840av's clothing. The chip works...Though I have no easy way of benchmarking! I don't really know if this is faster or not. The home network is plenty fast for surfing in Netscape 4.0.x.

I tried TechTool 1.1.9 and Apple's System Profiler. Both reflect a 580 series machine and a full 040 chip with FPU but I think that is a gestalt query as this System is a hacked 8.x folder and ASP was returning a 580 series machine prior to the brain transplant.

Can anyone out there recommend a freebie utility that gives real info about the computer's guts?

Thanks again for the mail and the advice!
Scott Strungis
