Closer examination reveals that the CC in question is completing the boot process, from the 'auto-startup'.

However, there's no display. Reseating analogue board made no difference to either problem.

Obvious culprits are the CRT and the a/b (I have checked all inter connections!).

Anyone know a simple way of telling which the cause of the problem is?

Given the auto-power on could be an a/b issue as well, anyone have a spare a/b available, please? Ironically, I let one go a few weeks ago. Doh!
