I just found MAC OS 7.5.3 from Apple's FTP site and proceeded with the download. If you didn't know, the OS comes on 19 1.4 meg zipped files. I'm hoping that they will all join into 1 (CDROM friendly) installer.
If it is like OS 7.1, then one would have to put all of these files onto separate floppy disks. Thus the installation process would mean that you would run the installer on disk 1 and it would later ask you to insert floppy disk #2 and on and on. I once tried to copy all of the 5-6 disks from 7.1 into folders with the same names as each disk on a separate hard disk and hoped that the installer was smart enough to look for the folder rather than the disk of that name, but that didn't work.
I'm hoping for the former scenario and I'll report to you the results.
Ted
