Well we certainly believe that each child has different needs and requires parenting that works for them. We have twin boys, and we keep one in diapers 24/7 and the other naked 24/7. So singling out one child happens often, although we try to be fair. Tyler (in diapers) is less mature, so if the boys get in a fight, we are stricter on Justin (naked) since he should know better. For us though it's not about setting an example or picking a favorite, it's about what works best for each child individually.
