Sounds like he must have really acted up all at once to earn diapers for a multiple month straight. If the first week was the hardest, does that mean he didnt have any issues with the diapers later in the summer, regardless of what activities or outings he had? It sounds great that it gives you more time together, but how do you balance that giving time to the other boys, who presumbably didn't wear diapers all summer?

That's good that he was able to find diapers with a character he liked on them. I bet you were more than happy to get the Luvs since it seems like it made him more willing to wear. Im not exactly sure how he could be so excited about wearing that brand, but still not want to wear diapers in general. But maybe it made him seem less conscious about being in dd going forward?

I also think you make a good point about changing time being great to review behavior and talk. Sounds like a real extra benefit of diaper discipline since most kids in diapers at the usual age wouldnt be able to verbalize such concerns or have a discussion. Does that mean you find changing time now, different or more rewarding than before they were potty trained?
