She leapt into the air on wings of silver fire, following after him and pondering what he had said. Of course, she knew that she was WAY off in the years... she, too, had stopped counting long ago. However, she found that she liked being old, as long as she still felt like she was in her youth. She thought of her youth, and shuddered. That had been one of the most aweful times in her life ... the other being the War, of course ... yes, the War had been aweful...

Then her thoughts shifted to the Noise Question, as she called it. It was obviously still a noise, but that it had not changed anything made her wonder. Though she had long ago turned from her father and his teachings, she could not help but remember what he had said. It had been from the Book of Alia. She could not remember the exact passage, but it stated that all living things were connected in some way, whether they were good or evil, small or large, kings or serfs. She cringed at the thought of being connected in any way to Alia. Alia was the enemy of all evils. She was the Holy Mother, the Creator of All, the Hater of Evil, the sworn enemy of the Dark Lord. Angel was forbidden to like Her. And yet, there was something ... inviting ... about Her. She sighed, pulling her mind away from such theological and philisophical questions. Right now, she was to have fun, to enjoy being with Doublethink...
