Over the years I've made a few furtive attempts to learn that Vedic Mathematics system discovered in the 16 sutras, but never advanced to a point where it made math easier. Based on what you have said above, I won't invest more time into it. However, I remain amazed at the astounding discovery of those calculation methods hidden in the Vedas. After all, what is elementary to a leading professor in the field such as you isn't necessarily so simple to all the rest of us civilians. With great respect to you, Dr. Nerode. Thomas Mark
