 only the last three.... the ones that were taken by the races that got there and used as Keys. the others that were like Treyvan in that way. the other races knew enough to know that Treyvan was sealed inside the Eyer. the other three that tried to escape with him were the keys needed to get him out. when Verdandi put all four of them back on the outside..... it was unpleasant, to say the least. had they gotten ahold of any of them alive, it could mean that the entire history of the world would have changed. two of them were, well, gunned down before they could get off the planet. Treyvan's beloved was one of them. the other was the other boy. Treyvan escaped with the remaining girl, but she was slain by a demon. that was when the Eyerlings were born- Verdandi told Treyvan to find them, and he did. they protect him now. when the others return, they will be protected as well.
