A heavier car that runs fast will always be more impressive than a lighter car that runs fast. Weight is the issue in all forms of competition, physical or non-physical.
From a power/weight ratio, X is going to be very hard to beat.... no matter what the competition brings. Put the compettion on a true 10.5" tire, and the comparison becomes more comical.
The truth is that my car weighed 3650 lbs before the factory dash, door panels, and console burned. I may have removed 150 lbs of net weight. Though it hasn't been weighed since, my best estimate is 3500 lbs.
Big Nasty pushed the 83 lb injectors to their reciprocating redline during the pass that positively affirms horsepower to be at 1060. The upgrade to 96 lb injctors will yield power levels exceeding 1200 hp for our Dec 06 race. My predictions have always been correct and you'll witness X run quicker than 8.50 at trap speeds at 160 mph, give or take 1 mph. So, come get you some and please bring the corner weight scales so I can prove it to you once again.
