frenchman- your the only one wanting a weight handicap. its your fault you built a heavy car. you have more motor than everyone else and at the present time have ran the fastest times so why the wieght handicap? oh i know.. is it that you know your time is limited and you will not be the fastest? or is it that your 572 ci fuel injected, laptop computered, nitrous assisted, pump gas motor cant hang with the smaller motors? not everyone can afford to build a big inch motor like you and have to build a lighter car.(like me) if you want the weight break.. then there needs to be a handicap for the guy with the smaller motor also. ie.- candy 3550 lbs with a 468 (what i have heard.. not sure) so what kind of handicap you gonna give the smaller motor guy (that cant afford a big motor.. not saying bryan cant afford it) that weighes the same as you? that .10 you want can be given to to the samller motor guy also.. like .10 second per inch of motor smaller than yours. lets see 572-468=104 inches @ .10=1.04 seconds.. hey that would even you and candy up right? now you are bracket racing right? its street racing in a safe enviroment..(at the track) and street racing has and always will be run what you brung!

maybe you need to put your car on a diet to get some more et out of it!

also on another note. street racing has been around long before the track and there wasnt any tree. it was a drop of a rag, or drop of arms. and now in the later days most people at night use a flashlite. so i like the protree. it would also elimate the redlighting.. unless someone gets really anxious. this would help out the lose of spot due to redlighting. and i also agree that with all the et indexs it will be hard to keep up with. make 4 or 5 classes and let the racing begin. keep it simple.
