Subject: Debate??? What debate???

Sorry French, but the statement you made that "big inch motors need elaborate solid lift valvetrains" is not true. While it is true, to get the highest, maximum horsepower out of ANY engine, high compression, large heads, and solid roller cam components are in order. A big inch motor can make the same power as a smaller race motor (requiring said components) and only need the use of a hydraulic roller, with streetable compression. It does not have to use high compression and a solid roller, but it must have the correctly sized heads for that particular application. As I have stated in earlier tech talks, large port heads and low compression do not mix (unless artificial atmosphere is introduced). Also, my wifes idea of a street car is no where near the same as mine. If she was on my level of street car ideas, then she would posess the competency to drive my camaro, and would surely be welcome to do so. I think your wife making a nine second pass in X pegs out the "cool" meter! I can only wish my wife was that cool.
