Subject: Congratulations, Mr. Insanity.

Congratulations to Insane Wayne on a very well-ridden motorcycle race. Wayne has always ridden the wheels off of the Busa every time we ran. Sunday's festivities were no exception. A near perfect launch, feathering the clutch absolutely perfect, a great 1-2 short shift and the rest is history.
X had too much torque down low and not enough on top to make up the difference. Wayne always rides better in those given conditions.
There are comments to be made, however. Any of you out there that "think" you can handle Wayne on his Busa provided the race conditons of this past Sunday can wager with me any time you want. Losing a grand on a race affects me like $100000 would affect most of you. There's plenty more where that came from. So, in essence, it don't matter.
Another point is that any box-stock Busas will run in the mid-high 9's contrary to what you think. Wayne, historically, has always been inconsistent at the dragstrip, but near perfect elsewhere. I've seen stock-swingarm Busa's w/ 150 lb riders go easy 9.40's while only tying the front ends down (so you can ride them)
The race was supposed to be X vs SS-747. X waited for over 3 hrs. When SS-747 was unloaded, it was suffering a malfunctioning N20 solenoid. With the bet already secured, I allowed him to back out of it. Being that several people had travelled some distance, I elected to run the Busa, knowing that I was tuned to barely beat SS-747. This is the kind of competitor that I am. All of you with your bullshit comments can go back under the rock that you were hiding under and dream of the day when you'll have the guts to take on Wayne's bike in similar conditions.
We'll run the bike again, probably from a roll; I'm not scared or better yet at Hallsville. But more importantly, I'd rather get the race that I graciously allowed Turbo Mike to ease out of; X vs SS747. Turbo Mike has since called and has confirmed to that race for more than a measly $1000 and guess what? I'll have the opportunity to entertain you some more! You can go back in hiding under your rocks till then.
