Subject: Diesel/pump gas

They also sell 100 octane unleaded gas at select 76 Unical stations in some states. Does that constitute as street car gas? Also, some race tracks sell their race gas using gas station style pumps, such as the track in Baytown. Is that pump gas? If I bought a brand new car at the dealership and had it tubbed (with no other modification), would it no longer be a street car, even though I performed a race style modification to it? If I put a hood scoop on it, is it still a street car or is it now a race car. The old late sixties and early seventies musclecars had big cams, lots of compression, lots of induction (some had two fours), etc, etc... Were they race cars or stret cars. Hell, they were brand new from the factory like that. My point is, you cant draw the line anywhere on what criteria constitutes a street car. All you can do is differentiate between a street legal car and a race car. One is and the other isn't, with no grey area. And yes, you are definately right, everyone has their own opinion.
